i'm sad. y? cause my good pal handi has left us forever.. never coming back again.
his story is one very much like those we see on those chinese drama serials. i never thought this kinda things would happen in real modern day life but it did.
let me begin his story:
Once Upon A Time, a young boy named handi travelled across the seas from the near-away land of Indonesia. Like many Indonesian kids he came to spore for an education in hopes of a better future. yes of course he was rich but he wanted to become richer u see, hence coming to spore to study. (ok out of point.) but coming from a super traditional family background. he was pretty much restricted. he had to report about all his doings to the patriach of the family. his ah-gong.
like all young boys, he fell in LOVE. in love with another pretty indonesian girl studying in spore. BUT GUESS WHAT? the ah-gong had other plans in mind. the ah-gong already arranged a marriage for him to some china girl he has never seen in his entire life. n handi didnt have a choice, he broke up with his gf n is getting married to that china girl this june/july i think.
damn sad lar. *sigh* i'm so angry, he (handi ) told me he had no idea how it was possible to love her (china girl he has nvr seen). i know our grandparent's marriages are all arranged but its the 21st century?! who would ever have thought this would happen now? esp. here. *shurg* i really sympathise with his plight. n giving up his girlfriend? that was the saddest part.
y couldnt he stand up to his AH GONG? WHY? and all he said was: "things aren't as simple as u think Sophia."
are things not that simple?
